About the role

As a Staff Product Manager on the SSD marketing team, you will work cross-functionally to define product strategies and secure design wins for data center and hyperscaler-focused SSD solutions. You will translate evolving hyperscale and AI infrastructure requirements into market and product requirement documents spanning SSD architecture, NAND flash, and NVMe interfaces.

What you'll do

- Drive product strategy, roadmap definition, and end-to-end business plans for data center and hyperscaler-focused SSD solutions. - Engage directly with hyperscale customers across cloud, AI, and large-scale data center environments to translate infrastructure needs into differentiated product requirements. - Author market requirements documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs) synthesizing customer inputs, AI/ML workload trends, and competitive intelligence. - Define and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, AVL processes, interop validation, qualification schedules, and volume ramp plans. - Collaborate with CPU, GPU, platform, and software ecosystem partners to drive qualifications and large-scale deployment readiness. - Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept and definition through development, launch, ramp, and end-of-life.

What you'll need

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - 7+ years of product management experience in SSDs, storage, semiconductors, or related hardware technologies. - Strong technical understanding of SSD architecture, NAND flash, and controller/SoC design. - Solid domain knowledge of the NVMe ecosystem, PCIe interfaces (PCIe Gen4/5/6), and enterprise storage systems (block, file, object storage). - Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU-based systems, storage tiering, software-defined storage, Linux, and Kubernetes. - Ability to travel approximately 25% for customer engagements, design reviews, and industry events.

Nice to have

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced technical degree. - Prior experience working with or supporting hyperscalers, cloud providers, or large-scale data center operators. - Experience with hyperscale qualification cycles, deployment models, and fleet-level optimization across performance, power, endurance, and TCO. - Direct involvement with industry standards and consortia such as NVMe, OCP, and SNIA. - Experience in AI-driven storage use cases and ecosystem collaboration with CPU/GPU and storage software vendors.
