About the role
As a Staff Field Applications Engineer, you will drive technical engagement and design wins with strategic customers, serving as the primary technical authority on power architectures.
What you'll do
- Act as the technical lead for power solutions with strategic and key customers.
- Architect complete power systems, from AC/DC front end through DC/DC conversion and point-of-load regulation.
- Identify and drive new product opportunities in collaboration with Product Line teams.
- Partner with customers to optimize designs for efficiency, thermal performance, reliability, and cost.
- Deliver technical seminars, workshops, and hands-on demos of power design and simulation tools.
- Mentor junior FAEs and help elevate the technical capabilities of the regional applications team.
What you'll need
- BSEE.
- 6+ years of experience in power circuit design at the board and system level, with understanding of power conversion topologies.
- Expertise in one or more of the following: high-efficiency DC/DC conversion, multiphase regulators, battery management, power modules, or high-voltage conversion.
- Familiarity with Signal Conditioning and Data Converters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent hands-on lab skills for troubleshooting and design validation.
