About the role
This role involves overseeing laboratory operations, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with global semiconductor and automotive standards.
What you'll do
- Drive 8D investigations, containment activities, and deviation management to ensure effective Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to lab technicians during failure investigations.
- Coach teams on reliability failure investigations, including failure mechanisms and stress test behaviors in accordance with JEDEC and AEC-Q standards.
- Oversee daily laboratory operations to meet KPI targets and client expectations.
- Deploy and maintain Quality Management tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
- Lead internal audit management, overseeing preparation, execution, and closure of audit findings.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in semiconductor reliability testing, quality engineering, or failure analysis lab environments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with JEDEC, AEC-Q100 /Q006, and IATF 16496 quality management systems.
- Strong proficiency in 8D methodology, RCCA tools (5Whys, Fishbone), and core Quality Management tools.
