About the role
This role is responsible for leading the resolution of complex product quality issues, driving continuous improvement in product and test quality, and influencing quality strategy across the product lifecycle. You will serve as a technical leader within the Global Quality organisation, partnering with Business Units, Manufacturing Operations, Reliability Engineering, Customer Quality, and Product Development teams.
What you'll do
- Lead global cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex product quality issues.
- Evaluate product, process, and test-related quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyse manufacturing, reliability, yield, and customer-return data to identify systemic issues and emerging trends.
- Provide technical leadership for quality assessments related to product changes, process transfers, test enhancements, and new technology introductions.
- Drive deployment and continuous improvement of quality management systems and best practices.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Product Quality, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and product lifecycle processes.
