About the role
This role involves the design of key analog blocks, ICs, and ownership of transistor-level design flow for products like PMICs, Linear and Switching DC-DC converters.
What you'll do
- Design and own key analog blocks including Bandgap references, Analog Buffers, Op-Amps, Comparators, and High-speed level shifters.
- Develop architectures to meet block-level performance specifications.
- Guide layout engineers to ensure quality analog layouts.
- Optimize simulation setups based on Pre/Post (with/without) Parasitic using simulator options and debug tool-related challenges.
- Mentor Freshers and Junior engineers to upscale technical skills.
- Develop multiple blocks with minimal supervision and drive all aspects within committed schedules.
What you'll need
- 8+ years in Analog Circuit Design, Simulation, and Verification.
- Solid understanding of analog designs and proven experience of block designs with full ownership.
- Schematic generation, simulation, and verification using modern CAD tools.
- Design and verification experience of simple analog blocks, Monte Carlo analysis using industry standard CAD tools.
- Clear understanding of analog layouts.
- Conversant with standard design, extraction, and simulation flows and tools.
Nice to have
- Experience of silicon validation and debug.
- Good understanding of ESD and ability to design the I/O ring for the IC.

How we counted: 93 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 30 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
