Implement and optimize NAND digital circuits for memory product development.
About the role
As a Staff Design Engineer at Micron, you will craft and analyze digital circuits used in memory product development. The role focuses on implementing and optimizing NAND circuits while ensuring products meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
What you'll do
- Interpret device and system specifications to define architecture and develop new circuits. - Support the creation of schematics and RTL blocks, and establish design and verification practices. - Perform RTL and synthesized netlist (gate level) verification at block, subsystem, and full chip levels. - Deliver design simulations, including post-layout analysis, and design verification plans in Verilog. - Facilitate netlist bring-up and collaborate with Product Engineering on validation plans and silicon results. - Assist in silicon design validation, reticle experiments, qualification, and tape-out revisions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. - 7+ years of experience in digital circuit design and development. - Proven track record to meet performance, area, and power targets. - Experience with RTL and gate-level verification processes.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. - Experience in technical leadership or project management roles. - Knowledge of non-volatile memory technologies, particularly NAND. - Familiarity with building architecture and verification guidelines.
