About the role
This role involves providing support for customer qualifications on datacenter SSD products.
What you'll do
- Provide support on test plan development and execution, failure analysis, and status reporting during product qualification.
- Ensure all hardware and software components of the qualification are in place and ready for execution.
- Manage complex qualification infrastructure from multiple customers.
- Plan and drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule.
- Perform failure triage on issues found during qualifications.
- Manage issues in defect tracking systems and drive them to resolution.
- Write test status reports on a regular basis.
What you'll need
- BS degree in computer engineering or equivalent field with 7+ years hands-on technical experience with SSDs or related storage devices.
- Advanced understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals.
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills including run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation.
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts for cross-team usage.
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis.
Nice to have
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools.
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies.
- Experience with OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD specifications and SSD test system usage.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders of a product development organization.
