About the role
As a Staff Applications Hardware Engineer, you will drive the development of internal and customer-facing evaluation hardware. This role involves developing and debugging on ARM-based platforms with a focus on low-power designs.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and test PCB hardware.
- Collaborate with engineering and validation teams to debug complex system-level issues.
- Conduct customer hardware design reviews and debug customer hardware issues.
- Assist with the design, debug, and testing of embedded microcontroller software drivers, algorithms, application code, and board support packages.
- Develop manufacturing test procedures and hardware for board builds.
- Create application notes, knowledgebase articles, and hardware design guidelines.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware development.
- Experience with PCB development for battery operated consumer electronics devices.
- Experience developing and debugging on ARM-based platforms.
- Experience with low-power designs.
- Experience with Python or C/C++.
Nice to have
- Experience with wearable devices.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
