About the role
This role involves the design and development of complex analog IP within power management products. The scope includes product lines such as WBG Drivers (SiC, GaN), LED drivers, Switches/efuses/Hotswap controllers, DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, and Dr. MOS.
What you'll do
- Design and develop complex analog IP or lead analog block development from definition to delivery.
- Perform design and simulation at the block/IP level and present results to review teams.
- Guide physical designers and monitor IP block layout progress.
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams to measure Si performance.
- Own technical outcomes for design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management IPs.
- Plan and execute work to align with the full chip schedule.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or MS with 6+ years of experience.
- Solid track record of delivering block/IP level design.
- Sound knowledge in CMOS analog design, CMOS fundamentals, and related simulation tools.
- Good understanding of Power Converters such as Buck, Boost, LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators gm-stage, and relevant Analog building blocks.
- Strong Analog IC design skills, including debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing.
- Understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design, Layout, and Robustness.
- Experience in system tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations.
- Experience in Cadence Spectre for schematic capture, simulation, layout, and tape-out.
