About the role
This role focuses on securing and assuring material availability to factories and the field, resolving shortages, and managing short-term Materials Availability Performance with suppliers.
What you'll do
- Serve as the first point of contact for Inbound Supply Chain Management with suppliers and internal customers.
- Continuously monitor and follow up on agreements and performance indicators with suppliers to secure Materials Availability.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of parts by understanding and clarifying sources and potential impact of demand changes.
- Participate in supplier improvement projects with Logistic Supplier Manager and Quality Supplier Manager.
- Coach and train suppliers on ASML designed systems, portals, processes, procedures, tools, and techniques.
- Apply LEAN methodologies like 4C/A3 problem solving techniques for process improvements.
- Analyze and report on Materials Availability, understanding Materials Requirements Planning logic and dependencies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Good knowledge of Logistics processes, Supply Chain, and flows.
- Good knowledge of Planning systems (e.g. MRP).
- 2-5 years relevant experience in logistics / supply chain management.
- Experience in planning, Inbound Supply Chain Management processes in a high-tech, low-volume environment.
- Experience with planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
