About the role
This role is responsible for developing hardware and software automated test equipment (ATE) solutions for SiTime's precision timing devices, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through high-volume production.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize custom test hardware, including load boards, custom test boards, and probe cards.
- Write, debug, and optimize ATE test programs (J750/uFlex, V93K).
- Perform Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies and statistical analysis of test data.
- Transfer NPI test solutions to OSATs / overseas manufacturing partners and support offshore production releases.
- Execute yield enhancement, test time reduction, and cost-reduction projects.
What you'll need
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
- 5+ years of test development experience on mixed-signal ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K (PS1600) and Teradyne (J750, uFlex).
- Proficiency in C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, and statistical analysis tools.
- Experience with analog/mixed-signal circuit design, board-level debugging, oscilloscope, and lab metrology tools for timing/frequency parameters.
Nice to have
- Direct test development experience on major ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest V93000, Teradyne J750/UltraFLEX) and industry-standard handlers/probers (e.g., TEL, Hon precision, Cohu).
