About the role
Responsible for maintaining and developing MPS power IC devices and processes. Focuses on process and device development across DMOS, Bipolar, CMOS, and high voltage devices.
What you'll do
- Execute process and device development for DMOS, Bipolar, CMOS, and high voltage devices. - Interface with the MPS Foundry Group and fabrication foundry personnel for development and qualification of devices, processes, and process changes. - Define design rules for analog process technologies, and verify design rules versus DRCs (Design Rule Checks) with the CAD group. - Provide, clarify, and document device requirements and capabilities in coordination with the Design group. - Work with the Mask Design Group and Mask Shop on device layout and mask/reticle tooling requirements. - Conduct semiconductor device design, process and device simulation, test structure layout using CAD software, definition of process experiments, and wafer-level electrical measurements.
What you'll need
- Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Master’s with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. in analog process and device development. - Familiarity with Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS, and high voltage devices. - Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process and device simulation, and design rules. - Knowledge of SPICE model extraction, graphics layout software, and mask making requirements.
