About the role
As a Sr Technician QC Inspector, you will be a key member of our Manufacturing and Operations team, responsible for ensuring the quality of silicon wafers as they evolve into products within an advanced cleanroom environment.
What you'll do
- Verify raw materials conform to purchase orders and specifications through incoming inspections.
- Conduct in-process checks at various production stages to prevent non-conforming products.
- Perform final checks on finished goods before shipment.
- Document and isolate non-conforming material (hold/rework) through defect management.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
What you'll need
- High attention to detail, capable of identifying minute defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards.
- Integrity and objectivity, committed to enforcing quality standards.
- Analytical thinking, able to analyze data, interpret technical drawings, and identify root causes of defects.
- Proactive problem-solver who can identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to improve processes.
- Good communication skills, capable of clearly reporting findings in writing and discussing them with production personnel.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability for prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday.
