About the role
The Sr. Systems Engineer designs and develops products and systems that meet customer requirements, providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Ensure robust design and optimization of technical aspects of standard and customized products.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements and schedules.
- Architect solutions, develop algorithms, and demonstrate working solutions in embedded systems and PC applications.
- Organize and report status and action plans to team and management.
- Ensure design process and documentation requirements are met.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and drive best practices.
What you'll need
- Bachelors of Science or Engineering degree.
- Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of products at the system-level including embedded systems.
- Exposure to SW and HW development best practices.
- Hands-on, technical problem-solving mindset with both HW and SW.
- Ability to use an oscilloscope and other standard electronics lab equipment.
- Ability to understand / define testing approaches.
Nice to have
- Experience with imaging, vision systems or RFID products.
