About the role
This role leads maintenance operations within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, focusing on shift execution, personnel leadership, and tool performance oversight.
What you'll do
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during assigned shift
- Work with operations to reach daily production targets
- Respond to equipment excursions and coordinate with engineering and operations teams
- Monitor uptime metrics (availability, WIP load)
- Support troubleshooting of tool problems in conjunction with operations and engineering
- Drive root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) for excursions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of problem solving and decision-making methodologies
- Strong understanding of tool control strategies, including FDC and feed-back/feed-forward control
- Strong understanding of SPC and statistical analysis
- Experience in high-volume 200mm or 300mm fab environments
Nice to have
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
- Experience ramping new tools or processes
- Familiarity with MES systems
- Proficiency in Excel
