About the role
Creates test plans, test procedures, manufacturing solutions, and hardware designs for mid-high power ASIC products.
What you'll do
- Perform silicon design verification, debug functional device issues, and run characterization and analyses of electrical parameters and KPIs against design simulations. - Interface with cross-functional teams including RF, Analog, and Digital IC designers, Software, System Engineering, Test Engineers, and Operations to incorporate test solutions into production programs to improve yield, test time, and quality. - Develop design implementation, analysis, methodology, flows, and automation for development and validation of System on Chip, electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, and packaging. - Optimize tests and hardware designs by evaluating device performance across operating conditions and configurations. - Conduct specialized analyses such as feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, and teardown analyses. - Troubleshoot advanced issues with product designs and document solutions for internal engineering teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience (or Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years). - Experience developing and evaluating electronic hardware, equipment, and integrated circuitry. - Experience performing electrical parameter analyses, device characterization, and hardware debugging. - Experience conducting signal integrity, power integrity, or feasibility analyses.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. - 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. - 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF tools. - 1+ years in a technical leadership role.
