About the role
This role involves comprehensive Analog layout design from block level to full chip, with ownership of floorplanning and layout for various analog circuits.
What you'll do
- Perform Analog layout design from block level to full chip.
- Drive design innovation and best practices in layout.
- Floorplan and layout typical analog circuits such as charge pumps, comparators, amplifiers, bandgaps, and linear regulators.
- Implement floor planning, leaf cell layout, and analog layout matching techniques.
- Design for EM and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross layout teams to deliver high quality layouts.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer engineering.
- 12-15 years in Analog Layout Design and associated flows for DRC, LVS, Packaging.
- Deep knowledge in floor planning, leaf cell layout, and analog layout matching techniques.
- Expertise in designing for EM and reliability.
Nice to have
- Solid understanding of IC processing (preferably BCD nodes), packaging, and production test.
- Familiarity with advanced IC CAD tools.
- SKILL coding and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL.
- Expertise in CAD tools including Virtuoso XL, Calibre DRC, LVS, PEX, PVS, R3D.
- Ability to minimize rework by collaborating with design and layout colleagues.
- Experience following methodology guidelines for IP portability across designs.
