About the role
The Sr. Staff Integration Engineer defines, optimizes, and sustains end-to-end process integration flows for probe card manufacturing in a high-volume semiconductor environment. The position integrates unit processes across wafer-level fabrication, MEMS, precision assembly, interconnect, and electrical test.
What you'll do
- Define, own, and improve end-to-end process integration flows to align unit processes with electrical, mechanical, and reliability targets. - Lead yield improvement initiatives, investigate complex yield excursions and defect mechanisms, and drive defect reduction. - Lead integration activities for new product introduction (NPI), pilot builds, and ramps to high-volume manufacturing. - Develop integrated process flows, specifications, critical process parameters, and monitoring strategies using SPC and FDC. - Design and execute DOEs, analyzing inline, electrical test, metrology, and defect data using DMAIC and 8D root cause methodologies. - Evaluate, approve, and execute process, material, and equipment changes under formal change control and configuration management standards.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, Master's degree with 8 years of experience, or PhD with 5 years of experience (or equivalent experience). - Experience in semiconductor process integration across wafer-level fabrication, MEMS, precision assembly, or interconnect modules. - Demonstrated experience using statistical process control (SPC/FDC) and designing multi-variable DOEs. - Working knowledge of structured root cause analysis techniques including DMAIC and 8D. - Experience with new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, and process scale-up in manufacturing environments.

How we counted: 241 open Process Integration (Process Integration) roles from 40 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 20 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row.
