About the role
This role involves full technical ownership and leadership for several complex designs, contributing to the development and modification of sub-modules within ASML's machines and applications.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software for ASML's machines and applications.
- Implement analytics, data, control, and algorithm applications to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Provide technical leadership across software architecture, implementation, integration, deployment, maintenance, and roadmap activities for software modules or subsystems.
- Steer the work of 6-10 engineers as a Technical Lead Designer.
- Define and document software architecture requirements, quality attributes, interface contracts, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making activities.
What you'll need
- Master's degree with substantial general work experience, or equivalent working and thinking level.
- Comprehensive job-related experience in software design.
- Demonstrated experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET development.
- Expertise in WPF and XAML application development.
- Experience with MVVM architecture and separation-of-concerns design principles.
- Proficiency in software architecture, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Experience debugging complex software systems across multiple layers.
- Familiarity with build systems, automated builds, and deployment pipelines.
- Expertise in NuGet package creation, consumption, versioning, and dependency management.
- Experience with source control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Skill in unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture review capabilities.
