About the role
This role involves developing and validating software for platform and power management on AMD-Xilinx SOCs and boards. You will focus on bare metal firmware, drivers, and functional-safety (FuSa) artifacts.
What you'll do
- Develop bare metal firmware, drivers, or tools/apps for bring-up, initialization, and platform and power management of AMD-Xilinx SOCs and boards. - Manage all phases of functional-safety (FuSa) artifacts and enforce security best practices. - Validate new software features prior to customer release. - Contribute to the design and implementation of architecture for scalable, durable systems. - Collaborate with development teams and project managers to plan solutions and deliver results.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. - Experience developing bare metal firmware, drivers, or platform bring-up software. - Experience with functional-safety (FuSa) artifacts and software security practices.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in C and C++. - Understanding of object-oriented-design principles. - Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, embedded systems, operating systems concepts, and multithread programming. - Familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development.
