What you'll do
- Work closely with diverse teams (Engineering Design, Materials, Rack/Server Systems Program Management) to align design, materials planning, manufacturing, and quality efforts.
- Review design specifications, CAD drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and industry standards. Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to optimize products for efficient production.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and readiness timelines to support on-time New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Drive NPI processes by facilitating cross-functional problem-solving meetings with Design, Manufacturing, Test, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Oversee first article builds and First Article Inspections (FAI) for new products.
- Coordinate engineering rework and change orders during the transition to volume production and manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
What you'll need

How we counted: 151 open Product Engineering (Manufacturing Equipment) roles from 46 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 11 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Silicon Validation & Test family row.
