About the role
This role involves the design and development of RF LNA and switches for cellular applications. You will be supporting standalone LNA and switch modules and their integration into multi-chip modules.
What you'll do
- Design and develop RF LNA and switches for cellular applications, potentially using SOI and BiCMOS technologies.
- Support standalone LNA and switch modules and their integration into a multi-chip module (MCM).
- Work with layout designers to implement best practices for layout.
- Create test laminates to measure taped out hardware and troubleshoot measurement issues.
- Conduct peer reviews of designs, including expected and/or actual results.
- Write regular program updates and communicate progress and issues.
What you'll need
- MSEE or PhD in an RF related field.
- >10 years of experience in LNA and/or other RFIC designs.
- Extensive experience designing with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS.
- Strong background with RF measurements and characterization.
- Working knowledge of device physics for IC design, especially tradeoffs for LNA and switch configuration.
- Strong background in various linear and nonlinear simulation techniques and simulators.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of RF PA design and other large signal circuit design.
- Successful release of production LNA and switches for mobile applications.
