About the role
The NPI Product Program Manager provides end-to-end, solution-level program leadership for complex new product development programs spanning hardware, software, tools, applications, customer-facing solutions, and product engineering. The role serves as the single-point accountable leader connecting functional organizations into one cohesive, executable plan from program initiation through post-silicon development and Release to Sales (RTS).
What you'll do
- Consolidate and maintain the end-to-end integrated product-level plan across Hardware, Software, Tools, Applications, CFS, and Product Engineering, aligning schedules, costs, and deliverables with gates including VIR, PSD1, and PSD2.
- Establish, govern, and drive the integrated solution-level execution schedule, tracking critical-path milestones, interdependencies, and operational handoffs across functional teams.
- Lead the integrated post-silicon execution strategy through Release to Sales (RTS), managing bring-up roadmaps, silicon characterization, qualification, FPGA readiness, and software enablement.
- Coordinate with Operations and Manufacturing on wafer-start planning, silicon availability, engineering samples, and hardware builds, including test boards, load boards, and characterization boards.
- Serve as the unified program interface to the Vertical Business Unit (VBU), delivering consolidated status on execution readiness, milestone attainment, recovery plans, and scope changes.
- Partner with Product Management to support product requirements intake, portfolio prioritization, business cases, and cross-program resource and capacity planning.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience leading complex semiconductor, SoC, embedded-system, or platform product development programs.
- Strong understanding of the product-development lifecycle spanning architecture, silicon development, software, tools, applications, characterization, qualification, product engineering, and product release.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional programs in a matrixed engineering organization.
- Experience managing integrated schedules, resource plans, budgets, dependencies, and risks across hardware and software engineering teams.
