About the role

The Sr. Principal Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for defining, optimizing, and sustaining process integration flows across multiple manufacturing modules in a high-volume semiconductor environment. This role leads cross-module problem solving, supports product and process development, and drives improvements in yield, manufacturability, and reliability.

What you'll do

- Develop and refine integrated process flows across multiple modules while ensuring process interactions meet product performance and reliability targets. - Lead investigations into yield loss, defect mechanisms, and process interactions using data analysis and DOE methodologies. - Support integration activities for new product introduction (NPI), pilot builds, process qualification, and ramp to production. - Act as a technical interface across process, equipment, yield, product, and operations teams to resolve cross-module issues and support design for manufacturability (DfM). - Analyze electrical test, inline metrology, and defect data to execute DOEs and apply structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC and 8D. - Maintain integration documentation, process flows, specifications, and change control processes to ensure process traceability.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, PhD with 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience. - Experience defining, optimizing, and sustaining process integration flows across multiple manufacturing modules. - Practical experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and structured problem-solving methodologies including DMAIC and 8D. - Experience with defect analysis, electrical characterization, electrical measurements, and optical metrology. - Background in unit semiconductor manufacturing processes such as photolithography, etching, or electroplating.
