This role involves developing MEMS technology and resonators for timing products. The focus is on revolutionizing the timing industry with silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products.
What you'll do
- Design MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
- Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS characterization and design.
- Perform Failure Analysis on SiTime products.
- Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication.
- Interface with local and overseas vendors.
- Work in cross-functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
What you'll need
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- 1+ years of industry experience.
- Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, and fundamentals of MEMS devices.
Nice to have
- PhD preferred.
- Coding proficiency with MATLAB or Python and measurement automation experience.
- Finite Element Simulation experience.
- Printed circuit board design experience and oscillator fundamentals.
