About the role
This role drives the design and development of probe card mechanical components and assembly processes. You will also lead efforts in characterization, modeling, reliability analysis, and design debug for probe cards.
What you'll do
- Design probe card mechanical components, development test vehicles, and tooling fixtures.
- Generate, release, and maintain design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Develop probe card mechanical assembly processes, create work instructions, and conduct production training.
- Execute fundamental probe card performance characterization in a lab environment.
- Provide support for production and customer applications related to mechanical assembly issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation for designs, processes, and training materials.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Material Selection.
- Mechanical Components Design.
- SolidWorks.
- Structural Analysis.
