About the role
This role defines and delivers compute and AI infrastructure platforms for AMD's Data Center Solutions business unit. It focuses on the storage ecosystem and AI market, engaging ecosystem partners and solution providers to execute AMD's strategy.
What you'll do
- Manage strategic ecosystem partnerships to achieve AMD’s business and technology strategy objectives.
- Serve as a primary contact point for storage partner engagements, evangelizing AMD data center solutions technologies and products.
- Perform regular roadmap alignment with partners, identify synergies, and influence change to ensure AMD’s success.
- Identify key players in the AI market and cultivate strong technical and business relationships.
- Drive strategic initiatives across AMD’s data center CPU, GPU and networking portfolio, shaping product direction and influencing architecture.
- Translate customer requirements, market signals, and technology trends into clear product strategies for strategic partnerships within the memory and storage ecosystem.
What you'll need
- Experience in memory, storage, CPU, and data center GPU product knowledge.
- Background in machine learning applications and solutions.
- Strong understanding of customers’ business and decision makers.
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- Ability to operate autonomously through ambiguity.
- Strong individual initiative to drive progress on accounts.
Nice to have
- Experience in the computing industry, at the OEM or ODM, or CSP level.
- Background in storage solutions used in large-scale data center systems.
- Experience in JEDEC, SNIA or other standards bodies with a focus on storage.
- Expertise in enabling, building, and deploying industry standards and ecosystems.
- Familiarity with semiconductor business practices, operations, and product lifecycles in networking, compute, storage, and/or memory segments.
- Experience in a customer-facing role across multiple functions within a large organization.
- Experience with AI players and/or CSPs.
- Knowledge of AI workloads and SW stack.
- Background in architecture-driven product management or system engineering.
