About the role
This role defines and delivers Compute and AI infrastructure platforms, focusing on the growing AI market and AMD’s data center solutions strategy.
What you'll do
- Manage strategic ecosystem partnerships to achieve AMD’s business and technology strategy objectives.
- Serve as a primary contact point for networking ecosystem partner engagements, evangelizing AMD data center GPU technologies/products.
- Align roadmaps with partners, identify synergies, and influence change to ensure AMD’s success.
- Develop internal strategies for standards organization engagement and execute them through industry influence.
- Identify key players in the growing AI market and cultivate technical and business relationships.
- Own end-to-end partner product evangelism for selected areas of AMD’s Data Center GPU and AI infrastructure portfolio.
What you'll need
- Product knowledge in networking, storage, Optics, connectivity, CPU, data center GPU, and machine learning applications.
- Strong marketing and presentation skills.
- Strong individual initiative to drive progress on partnerships.
- Ability to operate autonomously through ambiguity.
- Understanding of partner hardware and software requirements, configurations, and applications to architect solutions.
- Ability to translate customer requirements, market signals, and technology trends into product strategies and requirements within the networking ecosystem.
Nice to have
- Experience in the computing industry at the OEM, ODM, or CSP level.
- Background in networking system architecture and solutions used in large-scale data center systems with a focus on switching.
- Background in optics and network connectivity.
- Experience in IEEE, SNIA, or other standards bodies with a focus on networking ecosystems.
- Expertise in enabling, building, and deploying industry standards and ecosystems.
- Familiarity with semiconductor business practices, operations, and product lifecycles in the networking, compute, storage, and/or memory segments.
- Experience in a customer-facing role across multiple functions within a large organization, particularly with AI players and/or CSPs.
- Knowledge of AI workloads and SW stack.
- Background in architecture-driven product management or system engineering.
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
