About the role

What you'll do

  • Manage strategic ecosystem partnerships to achieve AMD's business and technology strategy objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for power and thermal ecosystem partner engagements, evangelizing AMD data center solutions.
  • Maintain regular roadmap alignment with partners, identify synergies, and influence change to ensure AMD’s success.
  • Develop internal strategies for standards organization engagement and execute them through industry influence.
  • Identify key players in the growing AI market and cultivate strong technical and business relationships.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives for long-term technology and ecosystem planning, and multi-generation roadmap alignment.

What you'll need

  • Experience in the computing industry, at the OEM, ODM, or CSP level.
  • Background in power and thermal system architecture and solutions used in large-scale data center systems.
  • Knowledge of AI workloads and SW stack.
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

Nice to have

  • Background in optics and network connectivity.
  • Experience in IEEE, SNIA, OCP or other standards bodies with a focus on power and thermal ecosystems.
  • Expertise in enabling, building, and deploying industry standards and ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor business practices, operations, and product lifecycles in the networking, compute, storage, and/or memory segments.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role across multiple functions within a large organization.
  • Experience with AI players and/or CSPs.
  • Background in architecture-driven product management or system engineering.
