This role leads the supplier engineering and quality function, driving strategic sourcing, vendor performance, and cost reduction objectives.
What you'll do
- Provide leadership, direction, and strategy development for supplier engineering activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing decisions align with overall strategy.
- Set and drive goals for cost savings, value creation, and vendor performance.
- Develop cost reduction and avoidance initiatives and supply base improvement projects.
- Evaluate, qualify, and select suppliers based on industry and market trends.
- Maintain continuous awareness of vendor performance and participate in problem resolution for performance issues.
What you'll need
- 15 years of experience, ideally in the Semiconductor industry.
- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering Degree.
