About the role
This role involves supporting customer qualifications for datacenter SSD products, focusing on test execution, failure analysis, and status reporting during the product qualification phase.
What you'll do
- Configure qualification infrastructure for customer execution
- Drive execution of customer qualifications according2 to schedule
- Perform failure triage on issues found during qualifications
- Manage issues in defect tracking systems
- Drive issues to resolution in a timely manner
- Write test status reports on a regular basis
What you'll need
- 7+ years hands-on technical experience with SSDs or related storage devices, or BS degree in engineering with 5+ years hands-on technical experience
- Advanced understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills including run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
- Experience with OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD specifications and SSD test system usage
- Experience engaging with stakeholders of a product development organization
