About the role
As a Senior Customer Qualification Engineer, your primary role is to provide support for customer qualifications on datacenter SSD products. This involves ensuring all hardware and software components of the qualification are in place and ready for execution.
What you'll do
- Configure qualification infrastructure from multiple customers for execution
- Drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
- Perform failure triage on any issues found during qualifications
- Manage issues in defect tracking systems
- Drive issues to resolution in a timely manner
- Write test status reports on a regular basis
What you'll need
- 7+ years hands-on technical experience with SSDs or related storage devices
- Advanced understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills to include run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis (spreadsheets or more advanced tools)
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
- Experience with OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD specifications and SSD test system usage
- Experience engaging with stakeholders of a product development organization
