About the role
The Sr. Customer Engineer owns pre-sale and post-sale technical activities at assigned accounts to deliver design-wins and revenue growth in datacenter, AI, and communication markets. The role focuses on solving timing challenges and driving architectural discussions around clock tree and time synchronization architectures.
What you'll do
- Establish technical relationships with assigned key customers, including system architects and technical management, serving as an advisor on timing. - Own and deliver design-wins by partnering with regional sales to identify design slots, architect SiTime solutions, and resolve pre-sale and post-sale technical issues. - Drive solution selling through clock tree and architectural discussions across key system-level application areas. - Create technical content and training programs for regional sales teams and channel partners to support sales effectiveness. - Serve as the customer voice to influence SiTime roadmap and strategy.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of applications and design engineering experience in datacenter, AI, networking, or telecom. - Proven track record of establishing technical relationships with system designers and architects. - Demonstrated experience debugging and resolving technical issues in applications such as high speed SERDES, compute, and communication systems. - Deep understanding of time synchronization architectures and systems. - Strong business acumen connecting technical solutions to customer needs.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of industry standards including GR-1244, IEEE1588/PTP, NPT, GPS/GNSS, and G.8262. - Hands-on experience with timing measurement instrumentation.
