About the role
As a Sr. Custom Circuit Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of high-speed and low-power custom circuit designs, including Memory and FPGA Fabric. These designs are implemented in advanced semiconductor technologies such as FinFET and nanometer CMOS.
What you'll do
- Design high-speed and low-power custom circuits for memory and FPGA fabric.
- Implement designs in advanced semiconductor technologies, including FinFET and nanometer CMOS.
- Conduct schematic capture, SPICE simulations, and margin and functional verification of circuit blocks.
- Oversee layout planning to ensure tight pitch-matched memory layout and area-optimized custom layout.
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define PPA (Performance, Power, Area) and yield targets.
- Manage the full design flow, including circuit design, physical implementation, compiler usage, characterization, timing, and model generation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in memory and custom circuit design, verification, validation, and integration.
- Strong knowledge of custom memory design, high-speed, and low-power custom circuit design.
- Expertise in high-performance and low-power design techniques.
- Familiarity with variation-aware design in advanced semiconductor technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with large density memory cell design for high yield.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device fundamentals.
- Experience in custom circuit design.
