What you'll do
- Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
- Lead Materials Core Team and coordinate product development process deliverables through matrix management.
- Create, release, and update new project materials strategy.
- Assist in supplier price and delivery negotiations and monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).
- Manage materials change control process, meet cost objectives, and resolve quality issues.
- Partner with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues for assigned product groups.
