About the role
The Sr. Applications Engineer supports sensor verification, customer technical enablement, and image quality evaluation for CMOS image sensor applications.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the design team on sensor verification to evaluate functionality and image quality against design targets and application requirements. - Identify alternate solutions when technical issues cannot be addressed directly by design. - Create and maintain sensor datasheets, application notes, and reference designs. - Deliver technical information to support diverse image sensor applications. - Provide direct customer support, assist FAEs, help customers bring up and troubleshoot systems, and advise on image quality tuning.
What you'll need
- BSEE or equivalent, with an emphasis in Image Science, Color Science, or a related field. - 4+ years of relevant experience. - Experience with system level hardware, firmware, or software. - Background in electrical/computer engineering, imaging science, or color science, or experience in image processing, image quality evaluation/tuning, or image sensor related system debugging. - Strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge about CMOS sensor and pixel design. - MSEE.
