About the role
This role involves designing and developing analog IP blocks for power management products, including DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC drivers, Switches, and efuses.
What you'll do
- Design and develop analog IP blocks from definition to IP delivery.
- Perform design and simulation at the block/IP level and present results to review teams.
- Provide guidance to physical designers and monitor IP block layout progress.
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams to measure Si performance.
- Own technical outcomes for design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management IPs.
- Plan and execute work in alignment with the full chip schedule.
What you'll need
- Solid track record of delivering block/IP level design.
- Sound knowledge in CMOS analog design, CMOS fundamentals, and related simulation tools.
- Understanding of various Power Converters such as Buck, Boost, LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators gm-stage, and relevant Analog building blocks.
- Strong Analog IC design skills, including debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing.
- Understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design, Layout, and Robustness.
- Experience in system tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations, and Cadence Spectre for schematic capture, simulation, layout, and tape-out.
Skills: analog IP block, power management IPs, DC-DC, AC-DC, Cadence Spectre, silicon problems

How we counted: 88 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 28 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row. Figures refresh nightly.
