About the role

This role involves designing and delivering technical solutions across Keysight's NAS test portfolio, supporting the validation of networks for hyperscale data center operators, cloud providers, and network equipment manufacturers.

What you'll do

• Learn Keysight's NAS test portfolio, including AI data center test solutions, and build hands-on expertise with test platforms.
• Build and maintain lab test topologies, running protocol and performance validation.
• Support product demonstrations and proof-of-concept efforts for customers.
• Write Python scripts to automate test execution, data collection, and reporting.
• Help troubleshoot technical issues during customer evaluations.
• Develop demonstration materials and customer training content.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, completed within the last 12 months or graduating by the start date.
• Coursework or project experience in computer networks, covering TCP/IP fundamentals and Ethernet.
• Working knowledge of Python, demonstrated through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Comfort working hands-on with hardware in a lab environment.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of work time.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, research, or military experience in networking, systems, or test engineering.
• Exposure to routing and data center protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, or EVPN.
• Network certification such as CCNA (or in progress).
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, or public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Awareness of AI/ML data center networking concepts: RoCEv2/RDMA, congestion control, GPU cluster fabrics, or collective communication such as NCCL.
• Experience with REST APIs or test automation frameworks.
