About the role
This role involves contributing to the design of functional blocks for SOI Design Engineering. This includes design work with LNA and RF Switches using SOI and CMOS technologies.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design of multiple functional blocks including LNA and RF Switches using SOI and CMOS
- Generate and simulate EM models in HFSS for silicon design integration and validation
- Meet performance requirements while considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
- Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
- Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
- Software exposure: Cadence, ADS or AWR, FEM or HFSS
