This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions for programmable logic devices. You will work with the Quartus Software Design Suite.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Automate testing processes using scripting languages and established testing frameworks.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software validation, quality assurance, or testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl and Bash).
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of FPGA software flows (e.g., Quartus, Vivado, Lattice).
- Knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL) and FPGA design flows and System Verilog.
- Experience with embedded systems, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and device drivers.
- Knowledge about protocols like PCIE, Ethernet, Memory, and AXI4 interface.
- Experience with GUI Automation and AI for effective testcase creation and test analysis.
