About the role
This role is for an embedded firmware engineer intern to be part of the firmware team for PHY IP development.
What you'll do
- Develop and verify new firmware modules for Marvell Serdes IP.
- Develop CI/CD processes.
- Deliver module documents, module design specs, firmware source code, and build scripts.
- Perform debugging, bring-up, and production firmware development.
- Collaborate with firmware, design, application, and SoC teams.
What you'll need
- BS 3rd or 4th-year student or Master student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of embedded firmware design, development, and debugging.
Nice to have
- Experience with microcontroller programming.
- Experience with CI/CD, for example Jenkins system.
- Experience in C/C++ programming in a bare-metal embedded environment.
- Experience/knowledge with chip design simulation and verification.
- Experience/knowledge with SERDES technology and PCIe host interface.
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and LLM.
