About the role
As an Engineering Manager for the Memory Test division, you will lead a software development team delivering solutions for digital instruments on Teradyne's platforms. The role oversees the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of software aligned with system and product requirements.
What you'll do
- Lead milestone-based development schedules to ensure software delivery within time and budget. - Develop functional specifications and design documentation aligned with system and product requirements. - Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to define and refine software requirements for new features. - Support execution by monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting status to leadership. - Mentor and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities. - Ensure strong technical knowledge of ATE systems to address customer-impacting issues.
What you'll need
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. - 1–3 years of functional management experience with demonstrated performance and retention success. - Experience in software development within semiconductor test or ATE environments. - Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles. - Experience working cross-functionally with hardware engineers and FPGA developers. - Proficiency in software development tools such as C/C++ and MS Visual Studio. - Proven experience delivering customer-facing products into production environments.
