About the role
This role involves designing and implementing system software for on-prem private clouds, specifically focusing on enhancements and new capabilities within VCF.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to develop system software according to design and architecture specifications.
- Design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF and related areas.
- Perform systems level programming in Java, GoLang, and Python.
- Conduct full stack development, including REST APIs.
- Participate in all aspects of Service Ownership, including monitoring, alert-automation, triaging, and fixing issues to improve SLOs.
- Utilize test-driven development to deliver high-quality code.
What you'll need
- Bachelors with 8+ years of related experience, or Masters with 6+ years of related experience, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience with system software development.
- Proficiency in Java, GoLang, and Python.
- Experience with full stack development, including REST APIs.
- Ability to design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF.
- Experience with management, control, and data plane improvements.
