About the role
This role involves developing and maintaining test automation infrastructure and quality/performance test suites for Workstation applications and GPUs.
What you'll do
- Develop and evaluate new benchmarks, test suites, and API extensions.
- Analyze, automate, and integrate tests and industry standard quality/benchmark suites into existing infrastructure.
- Script applications to ensure accuracy, reliability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with automation and test infrastructure teams to standardize automation infrastructure and test analysis tools.
- Support the maintenance and upgrade of lab hardware infrastructure, keeping test systems current.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in software development, including web development, with high-quality, well-tested, and well-designed code.
- Programming experience in Python and its associated libraries.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and their applicability in the software life cycle.
- Understanding of test automation infrastructure, framework, and test analysis.
- Experience working with Databases (SQL/NoSQL) and Source Code management (Git, SVN & Perforce).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating system environments: administration and development, preferably in a virtualized environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in other scripting and general purpose programming languages.
- Proficiency in German.
- Knowledge of statistics, including variance analysis.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch.
- Experience with graphics and/or compute APIs such as OpenGL, Direct3D, Vulkan, CUDA or OpenCL.
