About the role
This role involves developing and maintaining software components for automated test equipment used by semiconductor design and manufacturing companies worldwide.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify software requirements and contribute to solution planning.
- Own the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of moderately complex software components and algorithms.
- Develop precise, production-quality code in C# and C++ for Windows and embedded Linux environments.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests; investigate defects and drive issues to verified closure.
- Use debugging, profiling, logging, and code-analysis tools to resolve complex software and hardware-interaction issues.
- Participate actively in peer reviews of requirements, designs, code, tests, and documentation, and provide constructive technical feedback.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with emphasis on software or computer engineering.
- 2 or more years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience developing in C#.
- Experience developing in C++.
- Experience with Windows environments.
- Experience with embedded Linux environments.
