About the role
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving software applications, engineering productivity tools, workflow automation platforms, and AI-assisted software engineering solutions for semiconductor test and automation.
What you'll do
- Own the requirements analysis, architecture and solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications, engineering tools, and automation platforms.
- Develop critical software modules, utilities, and engineering automation solutions.
- Build and continuously improve engineering tools, workflow automation systems, and development infrastructure.
- Analyze and diagnose complex technical issues, define solutions, and drive implementation and validation.
- Participate in reviews of software architecture, interfaces, data flows, and technology choices.
- Contribute to AI-assisted software engineering initiatives by evaluating and implementing AI Coding Agents, intelligent engineering tools, and process optimization solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional software development experience.
- Strong foundations in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, including C#, Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with experience in requirements analysis, system design, coding, debugging, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools, as well as code review, unit testing, and defect management practices.
