Software Engineers design, prototype, develop, and debug software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
What you'll do
- Design and develop code for large-scale software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices with limited supervision. - Lead and execute complex software projects. - Define software specifications and test plans for test benches and lab tools. - Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project scheduling, and software troubleshooting. - Troubleshoot complex software problems and perform tests on code and enhancements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security, or mathematics. - 7–10 years of related experience. - Experience designing, prototyping, developing, and debugging software solutions for hardware components and devices.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a related field. - Experience with C++, C#, SECS/GEM, SEMI-Standard, and SEMI manufacturing. - Knowledge of hardware, system integration, and EFEM. - Extensive experience with project management and the Applied Materials product development life cycle. - Leadership skills to lead moderate-sized projects as needed.
