About the role
This role focuses on developing new functionality and tools for a software suite, contributing to products through Cadence’s Intelligent System Design strategy and BETA CAE’s engineering solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop new functionality and tools for the software suite.
- Develop custom projects for clients.
- Optimize and enhance existing technical solutions.
- Work on the algorithmic solving of computational problems.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with AI/ML concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern Generative AI technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI/LLM infrastructure, including model serving, inference, APIs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI service integration.
- Experience with agentic AI systems and architecture, including tool use, function calling, agent workflows, orchestration, and multi-step reasoning.
- Strong Python programming skills, with proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and Pythonic code.
- Experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, NumPy, and related tools.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles, APIs, distributed systems, and integration of AI capabilities into production applications.
