About the role
This role involves developing AI solutions and self-service capabilities for Intel product teams within the DATA and AI SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS team. The products are used by thousands of customers across Intel to facilitate data-driven decisions.
What you'll do
- Learn best practices from senior engineers.
- Own and develop AI solutions features end-to-end.
- Design and bring AI solutions features to production.
What you'll need
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 semesters remaining until graduation.
- Strong passion for backend systems, distributed systems, and scalable software design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on backend and system-level challenges.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with backend design principles and common design patterns.
- Understanding of APIs, services, and server-side architecture.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with backend development (e.g., C#, Java).
- Experience building APIs (REST) and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Extracurricular software development activities (open-source contributions, hackathons, personal projects).
- Experience with AI-related services or data pipelines.
