About the role
This role is for a Software Development Engineer Intern focused on developing innovative visualization and digital twin experiences for future wireless networks. This position offers an opportunity to work on WirelessPro, Keysight's advanced simulation platform for 5G Advanced and 6G research.
What you'll do
- Develop interactive web applications for visualizing wireless communication simulations.
- Build 3D digital twin experiences using Cesium and modern web technologies.
- Create visualization tools for 6G research scenarios, including XL-MIMO, beamforming, beam management, mobility, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), UAV, and connected mobility applications.
- Design user-friendly interfaces for exploring simulation results.
- Develop Python-based data processing and visualization workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and wireless communication experts.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Experience with object-oriented software development.
- Familiarity with data structures and software design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience developing web applications.
- Knowledge of data visualization frameworks.
- Experience with 3D graphics, game engines, or visualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies.
- Interest in wireless communications, digital twins, simulation technologies, or scientific computing.
